New Synagogue - Berlín
Learn about Adolf Hitler's rise to power, Goebbels, Göring and Himmler's role in the Holocaust, life in Berlin under the Nazi regime and how the Jewish community lived in 1933, before the 12-year period that would change the country's history forever.
The tour begins where everything started, in the Reichstag and the now destroyed Kroll Opera. After discussing Hitler's rise to power, we continue towards the Soviet War Memorial in Tiergarten where our guides will give you an in-depth explanation of the Führer's most ambitious project: Germania. Once we visit the monuments that pay homage to the different groups persecuted by the Nazi regime, we walk around the traditional Jewish Quarter of Berlin, where we try to better our understanding of the community's hardships in the New Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery.
A necessary visit to truly comprehend the history of Berlin and Germany, marked by Nazism, persecution and war. Our guides will help you learn about the history of every area and monument we encounter so that you can appreciate their true significance.
