Our trip will start in Berlin, where we’ll hop on a bus to our first stop. On the road, and before leaving the city, we’ll take a panoramic tour of the main monuments of Berlin, getting a bit of context about the city.
Arriving at our next stop, the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, we will begin to understand the dimension of the tragic realities that were lived in here. Touring each of its places, we will learn more about how the concentration camp was run, about how the jobs were distributed according to the crimes and what were the punishments that were inflicted.
An important piece of collective memory will be explained during this visit, a moment you will surely never forget.
After we will set off towards Potsdam, a place widely known as a royal residence. This detail is significant since the royalty brought part of the splendour that we see, and of course the palaces and gardens where the royal families and their courts ruled and walked.
The Potsdam palaces are one of the most significant buildings in the world, among them you shouldn’t miss the Sansoucci Palace. This one is perhaps the best known and most relevant palace in Potsdam. But you shouldn't also miss the New Palace, the Babelsberg Palace or the Cecilienhof Palace, since all of them are outstanding.
There are many interesting places to see in Potsdam, and we’ll visit some of them accompanied by a professional. But the visit doesn't end there, after we’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy some free time, where we will be able to continue exploring all the corners of this enclave.
After the free time we’ll head back to Berlin. Enjoy a long day where we’ll experience first hand a piece of some of the darkest humanity’s episodes, but also some of the most opulent and glamorous palaces in the country. A unique chance to discover Berlin and its outskirts that you must not miss!
