Day trip to Amsterdam Villages and Canal Boat Ride

The tour begins with a panoramic tour of the city. While we leave Amsterdam, a professional guide will explain the most remarkable sights in the city. We’ll pass through the museum district, the Jewish quarters and the Jordaan District. A unique opportunity to enjoy the best views of the city while you travel comfortably on our bus. 

Once we’ll arrive at the windmills in Zaanse Schaans, our guides will take this chance to explain in depth the history of the most beautiful postcard of the Netherlands outskirts. Also in this gorgeous place you’ll be able to freely roam on a brief stop, discovering the place on your own to take your photos.

After the break, we’ll take the road for a brief moment till we arrive at the Waterland province, a place full of dikes, polders and floodgates. In this province we will arrive at Edam village, a little town specially known for its cheese, and we’ll be able to discover its magnificent architecture and the tiny alleys that go all over the city. 

Through its charming roads we will arrive at the medieval market, a place that has been working since the late 16th century. Here you will discover all the details that make the Netherlands a jewel frozen in time since the Golden Century. 

We’ll also get to visit Volendam, a little fishing village full of colourful houses and the most surprising shops. We’ll also enjoy an amazing snack at the cheese fabric, the local’s speciality. There will also be time to sweeten your day by trying the Stroppwafles, a delicious cookie made with waffle mixture and candy filled. Can you resist the temptation? Come try it!

In Volendam we’ll also make another stop, but this time for lunch. There’s the option of freely wandering through the city to buy some food, and also the option of being guided by our professionals to the most famous places to eat, and try the local food.

Finishing our visit to the outskirts we’ll visit Marken, an amazing peninsula placed in the Markermeer. Next to our guides, you’ll be shown an amazing village full of fisher houses and amazing gardens with the best views of the sea. But the best part of the visit will be the visit to a traditional Clog fabric, where a little surprise will be waiting.

After this visit we’ll be heading back to Amsterdam, but the visit isn't over yet, now is time to take a trip through the canals of Venice in the north! Cruise on the unparalleled “Canal district” while the sun sets to get an unforgettable view of the city. Admire the majestic houses, the gorgeous churches, and the iconic “Magre Brug”...
