Itinerary
On our excursion to Bruges from Brussels we will enjoy a unique day trip to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The charm of the canals and medieval buildings make the city one of the most popular destinations in Europe.
Our local guides will tell you all the history and also give you the best recommendations to make you feel like a Belgian. We believe that you should enjoy both the cultural side and the current affairs of the country. This mentality is what leads us to have the best comments and to find a unique experience for you.
We will discover Bruges and its historic city centre, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will enjoy the Lake of Love, also called Minnewater, which is undoubtedly one of the most romantic places in Bruges.
Nearby, the Begijnhof or Beguinary awaits us, this is one of the most representative places of Bruges. We will pass by the Walplein square, the famous Stoofstraat, the church of Notre Dame where Michelangelo's Madonna is located, the Hospital of St. John, one of the oldest in Europe, built in the 12th century.
We will continue our guided tour through the Gruut Palace and the famous and photographed St. Boniface Bridge to reach the most impressive point of Bruges, the Crown of Roses quay.
Our tour will continue through two of the most iconic squares of the city. The Tanners' Square and the Town Hall Square, where we will tell you about events that took place here and where we will admire the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
The end point of the guided tour will be at the Main Square of Bruges, where the Belfort bell tower is located. At the end of the tour (around 12:30) you will have 4 hours of free time to have lunch and explore the city at your leisure, taste the unique Bruges chocolate and see the famous lace shops.
But beware, it doesn't end there. The icing on the cake of this tour is not only a visit to a Belgian chocolate shop. We give you the possibility to round off the day with a boat trip through Bruges, an activity without which the visit to the city is incomplete. The swans will be our companions on this aquatic tour through the canals of Bruges, the real arteries of the city.
At around 18:30 we will be back in Brussels at the same place from where we started the tour, so book your place!
