Itinerary
If you want to enjoy one of the best excursions near Barcelona, join this tour that departs from Barcelona and takes you to discover all the charms of three of the most impressive towns in Catalonia: Girona, Figueres and Cadaqués. Aboard a comfortable bus, we will start a special and unforgettable day.
On the way to the capital of the homonymous province, Girona, the guide will put us in context by telling us details of the history of Catalonia. Upon arrival in the city, we will take a walking tour that will take us to see the colourful houses of the Onyar river, the basilica of Saint Feliu or the cathedral of Girona.
In its Jewish quarter you will discover the essence that this community left after the passage through the streets of the city, and continue the walk along the bridge and the Eiffel square, as well as the descent Saint Domenech.
After some free time in the city, we will continue to our second stop, an essential destination on the Costa Brava.
This excursion will also take us to Figueres, where the guide will again act as host to tell us about the must-see places of this city. You will be comfortably seated on the bus when you will receive explanations about Figueres, Dalí, and surrealism.
Once there, you'll have the chance to visit the Dalí Museum, a fascinating place that houses some of his most famous works. After your visit, it's time to recharge your batteries over lunch. You can try some local delicacies, such as a traditional escalivada or a tasty fideuá.
The next stop is Cadaqués. This fishing village at the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula is the last stop. It is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful places on the Costa Brava, as it has managed to preserve its charm to perfection.
Both on the bus and in front of the impressive church of Santa Maria, the expert guide will give you more details about Cadaqués. You can stroll through the streets with Mediterranean essence and, once you get down to the beach, you will have free time to enjoy at your leisure.
