From Valencia, we will head to Peñíscola, to start the day with a walking tour. We will move from the Avenida del Mar, a promenade lined with palm trees that offers spectacular views of the old town.

From here, we will reach the Porteta viewpoint, a privileged spot to admire the skyline. The Plaza de Santa María, the heart of the old town, is a small but historic square where the church of the same name is located, a construction dating back to the 13th century.

Its charm lies in its tranquillity and typical architecture, with whitewashed houses and cobbled streets that transport you back in time.

Next, we will visit the Bufador, an impressive natural cave formed by the erosion of the sea, from where the water seeps and produces a unique sound when the waves hit the rocks.

The next stop is the famous Casa de las Conchas, one of the most photographed places in town. The tour culminates at the imposing Castillo del Papa Luna, a medieval fortress that served as a refuge for Pope Benedict XIII.

You'll have free time to wander around its walls, rooms and courtyards, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean from the top of its towers.

You'll also be able to sample the gastronomy of Peñíscola at your leisure, with the chance to try typical dishes such as fish suquet or arroz a banda, accompanied by fresh produce.

In the afternoon, you'll enter the Albufera Nature Reserve, where you'll enjoy a boat trip among the rice fields and a variety of bird species, such as flamingos and herons. Afterwards, you will have free time to continue exploring this unique environment.

You'll also learn more about local traditions, such as the cultivation of rice, which is the origin of Valencian paella.

Book your places now to experience a journey through history in the middle of nature!
