Discover three of the Costa Blanca's most interesting destinations on this day trip from Valencia. We will visit Guadalest, a village with a medieval past and breathtaking views, Altea, famous for its old quarter and artistic character, and the Fuentes del Algar, a natural area with waterfalls and pools.
The Costa Blanca stretches for more than 200km and is home to villages with centuries of history and unique natural spaces. So that you don't have to travel alone, this tour allows you to explore some of these places without worrying.
We leave Valencia early in the morning for Altea, a white village with cobbled streets and views of the Mediterranean. We will stroll through the old town and see the white houses decorated with flowers.
The guide will take you to the church of Consuelo, with its iconic blue domes visible from anywhere in the city. After the visit, you will have free time to explore its viewpoints, discover its craft shops, or drink in one of its terraces.
The route continues to Guadalest, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Spain, nestled between mountains. We will take a short guided tour to learn about its history and its most important monuments, such as the Castle of San José, a fortress perched on a rock with spectacular views of the reservoir, whose turquoise waters will enchant you.
We will also visit the Casa Orduña, a former noble residence that now houses interesting art and history collections, and you will have free time for lunch and to explore its original museums.
We recommend the Microminiatures Museum, the Ethnological Museum and the curious Salt and Pepper Shakers Museum.
Our last stop will be at the Fuentes del Algar Nature Reserve, a spectacular place with waterfalls, natural pools and trails surrounded by vegetation, where you will have two hours free to walk along its wooden paths, visit the Arboretum or the Estret de Sacos, or simply take a dip in its refreshing waters.
