Itinerary

Santander
Secuoyas forest
Comillas
Santillana del Mar
Santander

From Santander we will head towards our first destination: the Sequoia forest. This impressive natural space, located on Monte Cabezón, is a natural paradise unique in Europe.

Strolling among these giants of more than 36 metres high will make you feel small in front of the grandiose nature you will find in this magical corner.

We will then move on to Comillas, our next stop. Here we will visit one of the city's most outstanding architectural treasures: Gaudí's El Capricho. This modernist building, with its ceramic façade and abundant details, is a sample of the genius of this artist.

We will also explore other highlights, such as the Fountain of the Three Spouts, the Corro Campíos and the Church of San Cristóbal, a beautiful neo-Gothic temple that reflects the spirituality of the town.

We will pass by the old Town Hall, the Corro San Pedro and the statue of the Heart of Jesus, from where we will have a unique panoramic view of the surroundings. We will also visit the Casa Ocejo, a Baroque jewel with an impressive coat of arms.

Our itinerary will also take us to Santillana del Mar, a town that seems to have stood still in time. We start at the Town Hall and stroll through the cobbled streets, admiring the House of the Archduchess Margarita of Austria and the imposing Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, an example of Cantabrian Romanesque architecture.

The tour includes the most important palaces and towers and monuments that take us back to medieval times. We stop in the street of Juan Infante, famous for its stately mansions of past centuries, and arrive at the Parador de Santillana.

In Santillana del Mar, you will have free time to taste the local gastronomy in one of its restaurants. You can ask your guide for recommendations on typical dishes not to be missed, such as cocido montañés (a typical Cantabrian stew) or Liébana cheese.

Discover the Cantabrian culture, traditions and amazing landscapes that will take your breath away on this complete excursion. Book your places now!
