Discover with our Guided Tour through the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, a unique state and one of the most important locations in the world. It is also a place to admire some of the best works of art ever made.

Itinerary Itinerary

On this tour of the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, we will visit some of the best collections, and we will admire many of the most representative pieces of art displayed in the Vatican Museums, which are also some of the most important pieces of art in the world. While it is true that these pieces are the focal point of the tour, there are other locations and monuments that deserve our attention such as the Bramante staircase or the Belvedere courtyard.

The next stop on our tour is the world-renowned Sistine Chapel, one of those rare locations that genuinely leaves the visitor awe-struck. Everything from the walls to the ceiling is so precious one almost feels scared to breathe in case something might be damaged. Michelangelo's masterpiece is one of the most significant, influential and iconic artistic creations ever made, and would make this tour worth doing even on its own. Although every one of Michelangelo's frescoes is incredible, the fresco of the Last Judgement is the one that has garnered the most attention over the years, occupying the centre of the ceiling. Nonetheless, after the Sistine Chapel, our tour still continues, as we go to St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. One of the reasons why you should make your reservation with us is the access without queuing, very important considering that these are some of the most popular touristic destinations in the world. We walk around this symbol of Christianity and try to understand the history of this place. We can even look up to see the room from where many Popes ruled the world, since there was a time when the weight of religion in society gave them a power that was... well, let's say that it deserved a place like the Vatican.

The Vatican is well worth discovering, and despite everything you might have already heard or seen about it, it will still surprise you!

If you are planning to visit another monuments in Rome, be sure to consider our Combined Guided Tour: Vatican Museum + Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill.
