Cider tour with Asturian Lunch, Villaviciosa, Tazones and Universidad Laboral from Oviedo

We will start the tour in Oviedo, from where we will head to Villaviciosa, known as the apple capital of Spain. On the way, you will enjoy a panoramic view of its incredible estuary, one of the most important estuaries in the north of the peninsula.

Once in the town, we will take a walking tour of its historic center, marked by the cider tradition, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The next stop will be Tazones, a picturesque coastal village that holds a great history. Here, we will walk through its charming white streets and colorful balconies, visiting the port where Emperor Charles V disembarked on his first trip to the Peninsula in the 16th century. Don't miss the emblematic Casa de las Conchas (House of Shells) and the sea views from the port.

Next, we will continue talking about cider at the llagar de Trabanco, one of the most traditional cider houses in Asturias. Here, in addition to a guided tour to discover the process of elaboration of the local drink par excellence, you will enjoy a typical Asturian menu.

It will be an excellent opportunity to taste the local gastronomy accompanied by a fresh cider while you learn about the history of this famous cider mill.

Afterwards we will visit the Universidad Laboral de Gijón, the largest building in Spain. We will get to know its imposing architecture and, with our guide, we will tour its central courtyard and some of its highlights.

On the way to Gijón, we will go to the Providencia viewpoint, from where you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Asturias, with the Cantabrian Sea and the mountains in the background.
