Itinerary
The day will begin in Valleseco, with a special visit to El Lagar Cider House, one of the few places in the Canary Islands where craft cider is made from local apples.
This exclusive producer will welcome you behind the scenes to show you the traditional cider-making process, ending with an award-winning tasting—perfect for those seeking authentic flavours and characterful local experiences.
From there, you'll head to Montañón Negro, a protected volcanic landscape officially recognised as a natural monument. Standing at over 1,600 metres above sea level, this striking site offers a very different view of the island’s interior—shaped by powerful geological forces.
Next, you'll reach Artenara, the highest village in Gran Canaria. You'll have free time to explore its charming corners, enjoy a typical lunch at one of its local restaurants—perhaps a grillhouse overlooking the ravine—and visit highlights such as the Casas Cueva Ethnographic Museum and the Cuevita Hermitage, both carved into the rock.
You'll also take part in a guided tour to learn more about the village’s cultural heritage and traditional architecture. From Unamuno Viewpoint and the Sacred Heart Viewpoint, you’ll take in breathtaking panoramic views across the island’s northern landscapes.
In the afternoon, the journey continues into the majestic Tamadaba Natural Park. Its pine forest, the best-preserved in the Canary Islands, is home to over 200 plant species, including six found nowhere else. You'll follow forest trails to Llanos de la Mimbre Viewpoint, where cliffs, peaks and ocean meet in a single unforgettable vista.
Book your spot now and experience a different side of Gran Canaria—elevated, lush and deeply authentic. This is one opportunity you won’t want to miss.
