Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga in 1881. And this is a source of pride for the people of Malaga. Since 2003, almost 20 years ago, the Palacio de Buenavista, located in the historical center, has been the headquarters of the Museo Picasso Málaga, whose mission is to spread the life and artistic career of the city's favorite son.

During the visit, our guide will follow a thematic and chronological tour to learn more about Pablo Picasso's work. At present, the gallery houses 120 works placed in a narrative way: starting with his formative stage and reviewing his most relevant artistic stages.

Picasso's legacy is characterized, among many other things, by the diversity and quality of his artistic production. In his more than eight decades of works we find that he has experimented with cubism, classicism or surrealism. At the same time, Picasso was always an avant-garde creator with an innovative talent.

For an hour we will enjoy the collection of the Picasso Museum in Malaga, which manages to spread the themes and techniques that the artist mastered throughout his life. Some of the works that we can see in the Museum are a portrait of his sister Lola; Still Life with Candle, Palette and Red Minotaur Head; Bust of a Woman and also one of his most famous works: The Young Ladies of Avignon, from 1907.
