The day begins at Plaza de Colón, where you'll set off on a walking tour through areas full of history and unique character: Torres de Colón, Plaza de la Villa de París, Plaza de las Salesas, Chueca, the iconic Palacio Longoria, Plaza de Santa Bárbara, and Alonso Martínez. A perfect start to connect with the most authentic side of Madrid.
Your coach will be waiting on Calle de Santa Engracia for a panoramic drive through some of the city’s most distinctive neighbourhoods: Glorieta de Bilbao, San Bernardo, Noviciado, the vibrant streets of Malasaña, Gran Vía, Callao, Cibeles, and the majestic Puerta de Alcalá, ending near the Prado Museum.
Opposite the museum and San Jerónimo el Real Church, you'll receive a short introduction, followed by some free time to explore part of El Retiro Park, grab a coffee or simply take a break.
As you head towards Toledo, the landscape shifts beautifully between modernity and centuries-old tradition. Upon arrival, the Mirador del Valle and Mirador de Toledo offer breathtaking panoramic views — the perfect postcard of the city.
From the San Martín Bridge, you’ll begin a guided walking tour through the historic centre. The route includes highlights such as the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the El Greco Museum, Church of El Salvador, the Church of the Jesuits, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the awe-inspiring Toledo Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the bustling Plaza de Zocodover.
After the tour, you'll have some free time to enjoy lunch, explore hidden corners, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage city.
Back in Madrid, the panoramic drive continues through the city’s modern side: Plaza Castilla, the legendary Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, and the elegant residential area of El Viso. On the way to the centre, you’ll also pass by Plaza de España.
The coach will drop you off near the Temple of Debod, where the final part of the day continues on foot. From here, the walk takes you past the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, then on to the Plaza Mayor, before ending at the vibrant Puerta del Sol.
