Day trip to the Cathedrals beach, Ribadeo, Isla Pancha and Tapia de Casariego from Gijón

The day will begin early with departure from Gijón, heading towards the Lucense coast. The first stop will be the Cathedrals beach, a Natural Monument renowned for its spectacular arch-shaped rock formations, some of which reach up to 30 metres in height. Next, the group will arrive in Ribadeo, widely considered one of the most beautiful towns in the Mariña Lucense. A guided tour will take you through its most iconic landmarks: the San Roque neighbourhood, the elegant Torre de los Moreno, the historic centre, the harbour, Casa do Patín, and the Convent of Santa Clara. After the visit, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch, take a walk or continue exploring at your own pace.

In the afternoon, the final stop will be Tapia de Casariego, a charming fishing village on the Asturian coast. Here, you’ll have free time to discover the port, walk to the lighthouse or take in the views from the Os Cañois viewpoint. It’s a peaceful and authentic spot, ideal for rounding off the day.
