Live a unique experience in Asturias with this complete cider tour that combines history, nature, and the best local gastronomy. Departing early in the morning from Gijón, we will start in Villaviciosa, a place full of tradition and charm, where you will discover the secrets of the Cider Shire.
We will stroll through its historic centre, discovering the Casa Palacio de los Valdés, the sculptures dedicated to the apple, the Teatro Riera and its majestic religious buildings.
Next stop is the picturesque fishing village of Tazones. Together with an expert guide, you will learn the details of the landing of Charles V, the whaling past and the charm of this town. We will visit the Casa de las Conchas, the parish church, and the picturesque houses of the San Miguel neighbourhood, declared a Historic-Artistic Site.
The day continues at Casa Trabanco, an emblem of the cider tradition, where you will see a cider mill from the inside. You will learn how cider is made and what makes it so special, and enjoy a typical Asturian menu in the restaurant itself.
