Naturally, an important part of the visit will be focused on a complete and deep visit of the Jewry. Our first stop here will be the handikrafts market or Zoco de los Artesanos. This market is one of the most characteristic ones of this city and promotes the local craft.

Another important place to visit is the Monument to Maimónides, a sculpture of the Cordoban thinker in Tiberiades square made by Amadeo Ruiz Olmos and inaugurated in 1964.

The Synagogue is anoher emblematic symbol to visit in the Jewry, a historic building built in 1315 and decorated according to the Mudejar tradition. A curiosity of this building is that after the expulsion of the Jews in 1492, it was transformed into a hospital for people suffering from rabies.

After this, we will stop at the Chapel of San Bartolomé, a 15th-century funerary chapel which is also one of the main exponents of Mudejar architecture. It is located in today's Faculty of Arts building.

To finish our incredible tour, we will have the opportunity to walk throught the famous gardens of the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs, also known as the Alcázar of Córdoba,  a medieval Alcázar located in the historic centre next to the Guadalquivir River and near the Grand Mosque. It was built on a previous construction, the Umayyad citadel, and was the place of primary residence for more than eight years of Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon,  the Catholic Monarchs.
