Departure at 08:00 am from the centre of Brussels, and transfer to the city of luxury. On our way to Luxembourg we will cross the Ardennes forest, a wonderful area in the middle of Europe. Notre Dame Cathedral
The cathedral "Notre-Dame" of Luxembourg was built between 1613 and 1621 and it is characterised by several styles.
It was the town residence of the Grand Duke, and it has beautiful façades and majestical interiors. It was built in the XVI century.
Claire Fontaine square
it is situated near the Cathedral and the Government district, it was redesigned at the end of the eighties. The name of the square comes from the abbey of Clairefontaine. A monument in honour of Grand Duchess Charlotte (1896-1985) can be found on this square.
San Michael church
It is the oldest building in the city and for this reason it has different styles. Over the centuries the church was destroyed several times, but it has always been reconstructed and extended.
After the guided tour, you will have 3 hours as free time to have lunch and explore the city as you please, visiting the kuddelfleck shops. We are going to stay in Luxembourg until 17:30 and then we will be back to Brussels at around 20h .
