The day starts in Montserrat, a saw-shaped mountain that is both a natural park, a spiritual centre and a cultural symbol of Catalonia. Surrounded by striking rock formations and Mediterranean vegetation, the mountain offers panoramic views over the Llobregat Valley and walking paths that lead to centuries-old hermitages. Here you'll find the Benedictine monastery and the basilica that houses the Virgin of Montserrat, known as La Moreneta, patron saint of the region.
Entry is included, with access to the site and its remarkable architecture. From the viewpoints, the scenery over the mountain and valley is breathtaking. You’ll also have free time to explore trails, browse local product shops, or enjoy a drink on a terrace with views of the massif.
