Itinerary of the trip to Versailles

Departing from Paris in the morning with one of our guides, we will accompany you in the train till we arrive to Versailles, the city that was the capital of France during several periods of the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries. After an hour of travel we will arrive to one of the symbols of Europe and Versailles stands out for its buildings and rooms as well as its astonishing gardens. The most famous thing of the palace is without doubt, as well as inside and outside its walls, it has more than 1800 hectares of grounds. We will discover the story of King Sun, the story of its buildings and incredible gardens, the curiosities that make Versailles unique, the scandals that shook the monarchy and led to the revolution.

To go into the Palace it is necessary to line up. In high season you can line up 30 min.

We recommend to carry a small snack. In the Versailles Palace there is no great culinary offer and prices are high.

In case we do not reach the minimum number of 5 participants, the guided visit will be cancelled

Transport

To arrive to Versailles from Paris you have to buy a train ticket (RER). We appreciate you to buy it in advance, in order to avoid delays and we can start to enjoy Versailles as soon as possible.

You can return when you want, without hurry, ties or schedules. You can stay in the domains till 17:30 h, the closing time of palace.
