Itinerary Itinerary

Departing from Paris in the morning with one of our guides, we will accompany you in the train until we arrive at Versailles, the city that was the capital of France during several periods of the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries. After an hour of travelling we will arrive at one of the greatest symbols of Europe. Versailles stands out for its buildings and rooms as well as its astonishing gardens. The most famous part is without doubt its sheer size, with more than 1800 hectares of grounds. We will discover the story of King Sun, of its buildings and incredible gardens, the curiosities that make Versailles unique, the scandals that shook the monarchy and led to the French Revolution.

In our guided tour to Versailles from Paris we will discover among other things its story and curiosities, we will walk along the gardens and its main patios, we will explain everything about the Hall of Mirrors and the chamber of the King, we will admire its fountains and the sculpture of the "The abduction of Persephone", and we will clarify the mystery of the diamonds necklace.

There will be an opening to tell you the historical events related to the palace where we will explain the story of the Sun King and the France of the XVII, XVIII and XIX centuries, the French absolutism, the march over Versailles and symbolic Treaty of Versailles that put an end to the First World War.

Once we finish the tour you will have free time to enjoy on your own Versailles and know the inside the Palace of Versailles with an audio guide in English.

To walk along its gardens and patios listening to the stories of kings, queens and symbols of the France of the XVII and XVIII centuries. It is a unique experience, discover it with Buendía Tours with the best price and in English.
