Trip to Luarca, Cudillero and Avilés from Oviedo

Embark on a sensational journey to Luarca, a little first fishing village, in which we are going to discover a privileged environment where sea and mountains merge in one. We will walk the streets till we arrive at the spectacular Plaza Miares and the Hermitage of La Regalina, one of the jewels of the Principality of Asturias.

From Luarca we’ll head to Cudillero, a place where we’ll stop to taste all the gastronomy of the area. But before eating, it's time to discover every corner of one of the most incredible villages in all of Asturias. Cudillero captivates everyone who sets foot on its streets with its peculiar and inclined roads, streets and side walks, that end up flowing into the sea. Throughout them we’ll see the daily life and activity of the inhabitants of the so-called 'Villa Pixueta'.

We’ll visit its houses facing the sea, the well-known Cudillero’s Amphitheater, where you’ll see a little twist on those words. We’ll also see the impressive cultural and artistic heritage of the village, such as La Quinta de los Selgas (a spectacular museum and old summer palace), and also some of the best churches in the region, among other things.

After easting, we’ll go to our third stop: Avilés. This one is known as the 'villa of the advance', since tradition, history, culture and modernity are mixed in a perfect shaker that offers all its visitors a unique experience. Over the years, Avilés has also become a modern and avant-garde city, where, above all, the Niemeyer Center stands out. Throughout our visit we will see the historic centre, the Church of Sabugo in front of the Avilés estuary and the Plaza de la Merced, presided over by the monumental Church of Santo Tomás.
