This tiny square is surrounded by restaurants and always full of artists gazing around, giving the square an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Burg square is where the town of Bruges was firstly born and for this reason you can find the Town hall of Bruges.

  • Basilica of the Holy Blood

A Romanesque lower church connected to the Neo-Gothic upper church where the Holi Blood is preserved. A legend says that here a part of the Holy Blood was brought from the Holy Land by Thierry of Alsace.

  • The Grote Markt and the bell tower

This is Bruges main market square, where you can find the most important buildings of the city and walk through the crawling atmosphere.

  • Belfort

Last but not least, another symbol of Bruges, another world heritage site! the tower dates back to the 13th century and is characterized by a stunning view over the city and its surroundings.
